- Sports Brand Iron requires extreme heat for optimum performance and you should exercise caution while using it. Follow these simple rules that will allow you to "Trill Em" safely & successfully _x000d_n
- Coat your branding iron head with vegatable oil or non stick cooking spray before heating _x000d_n
- Heat your branding iron for at least ten minutes over extreme direct heat, such as the hottest spot on your grill, directly on the coals, gas, or burner. The iron can even be heated on the stovetop and used in your kitchen _x000d_n
- Apply the iron quickly and directly to the food with light pressure _x000d_n
- Quickly brush the branding iron head with a grill brush or wire brush between brandings _x000d_n
- Always clean the head throughly after cooking, when it is completely cooled _x000d_n
- DO NOT attempt to heat the iron in any way other than the intense heat provided by your grill, burner, or stove. The head must be as hot as your grill surface to properly sear the meat _x000d_n
- DO NOT attempt to handle the branding iron until it has completely cooled down. Have a spray bottle of ice water available for immediate cooling
